Welcome to
Set in the heart of beautiful Cheshire, The Craft Room Tarporley offers art classes for both children and adults. Classes are held in a bright and airy studio just off Tarporley High Street, with weekly classes during term time and workshops during the school holidays and weekends.
All classes are delivered by myself - Rachael Carr, an experienced artist and qualified school teacher of over 15 years. Whether you want to learn a new creative skill or simply brush up on an old one in a friendly and relaxing environment - please do get in touch.
Our Services
Childrens art-classes
With classes available from age 4 upwards, there really is something for every young budding artist at the Craft Room. I am a qualified PGCE level Art Teacher with a BA Degree in Fine Art, specialising my thesis in 'Child Art'. Please click the artwork for more information.
Adult art-classes
I offer weekly classes and workshops for beginners and more experienced adults to work together on projects achieving their own personal outcomes. Please click the artwork for more information.
1-to-1 tuition
Would you like a little more support with your artistic vision? I cater for dedicated one to one classes on request.
GCSE & A level tuition
I offer support and guidance to students studying art at secondary school and to A-level standard. The extra tuition really does go a long way.
Private family workshops
Spend some quality time together at one of my family art workshops.

Birthday parties
Why not do something a little different this year and host an artistic birthday party in my studio? Cake at the ready!

I believe in adding colour and life to the village and community that has given us all so much. Throughout my time here I have been involved in or set up and ran a number of community projects from the Art Trails to The War Memorial Hospital projects.
